Song: “Church” · Tasha Cobbs Leonard featuring John Legend
1. Study the scripture
In a Bible app such as YouVersion, Bible Gateway, Logos, or Olive Tree, search for Jeremiah 29:11. Read it in KJV and MSG, or another version you prefer. Notice the language of peace, God's care, and hope for the future. Highlight phrases in your app if helpful, and consider how hope might shape your behavior online.
2. Listen with intention
In your preferred music app, search for “Church” by Tasha Cobbs Leonard (feat. John Legend) and select the official track or video. Listen without multitasking, sitting still or walking slowly somewhere safe. Notice how the song reminds us that God's presence lives beyond a church building, and consider how that connects with the hope in Jeremiah 29:11.
3. Reflect privately
Write in a journal or a note-taking app, or record a private voice memo or short video reflection on your phone. Choose whichever helps you engage most deeply. If listening is not accessible or available, reflect on Jeremiah 29:11 instead. Your notes and recordings stay with you; do not upload them here.
4. Offer encouragement
If someone welcomes it, send an official or licensed song link by text or email, include Jeremiah 29:11, and add a personal sentence of hope in your own words. Share a link, not copied lyrics or an uploaded recording. Keep your private reflection and other people's stories private.
Choose a prompt for your private written or recorded reflection:
- What does it mean that God's plan includes both provision and peace, even in your online interactions?
- What Bible verse has guided you through a season?
- Who introduced you to that verse, and from which generation were they?
- How can you share the hope in that verse with someone from another generation today?
Your reflections are private. Nothing you write or think here is published, and you’ll never be asked to share private messages or another person’s story.
Invite someone by text or voice message to read Jeremiah 29:11, listen to “Church,” and begin the 36-Day Challenge with you. Let them choose whether and when to participate. Share encouragement, not private journal entries or recordings.
